Band zwei hat mir nicht ganz so gut gefallen wie Band eins, es gab oftmals Stellen, die eher langweilig waren und sich hingezogen haben. Aber Jackaby ist immer noch klasse und die kleine Romanze ist super süß!

When someone finishes this book, please talk to me!!!! I feel like there was a major plot thing that got left wide open, but maybe I missed something? Still a fun, fast-paced adventure!

Fun detective work with a fantastical twist in a historical fiction. I do love all those things and this was just a fun quirky ride.

So the biggest thing that got me was the slow pacing (or what felt like slow pacing to me). Once we got into the last 75 pages, whoo boy did this ramp up.

So I loved that this started as a dinosaur which turned into a dragon. A fun little play on history.

I was very very sad that Nellie had to die though.

So there is one major plot hole for me. The chamelomorpha started as kittens. How do you miss a missing kitten.

I’m excited that the books now have continuity and I’m excited to learn more about Jenny.
