This was a fun sequel. It didn't quite live up to how much I loved the first one, but it did have a few great Jackaby moments such as his attempts to give romantic advice . And it did leave me really interested to read the next book!

Another fun and exciting story from the Jackaby series! I enjoyed this one more than the last mainly just because I love dragons. There was a fresh dose of interesting characters and, of course, the reappearance of old favorites. I was happy to see the internal conflict Abigail was experiencing being demonstrated by the contrast between Jenny and Nellie as well. The mystery itself was even more interesting this time around - in my opinion - and I'm curious to see how the missing pieces end up fitting in.
I'm choosing both paths.
