Seeing as how I own a limited edition on metal of the card featured on the cover, and I've been following the development of the deck on Chaz's Patreon for a long time, yeah, the cover sold this book to me. The deck is not packaged with this book, but I highly recommend it. It's gorgeous!
I'm less familiar with Carolyn Kay's work, so I was pleased (but not surprised) to find it clear and insightful and the perfect companion piece to the deck. I will have to get my hands on the Ashelon novellas and see if I can read them before Chaz releases the first expansion pack for the deck.
