One of the best books I've read. Beautifully written.
I don’t mean to be dramatic but this story had so many twists and turns I basically needed a seatbelt. Like.. WHAT A RIDE. Yet it was slow and gentle and lyrical and devastating as well? TW this book does deal with sexual assault and child loss amongst other heavy topics. But damn, it’s one of those books I’ll think about for weeks to come. Highly recommend. Also, goodbye, I’m off to be a caretaker for a cemetery and live in a cottage with a lush garden. Dreamy.
