Another thoroughly enjoyable book in the Fated mates series.

Orphaned and raised by her older sister, Nadia has been kept isolated by her sister's overprotective stance after an incident with a man left her injured. Now she is surprised to find she is the fated mate of a returning warrior, Zatir, who has been on a crusade to destroy the Orkuns who wiped out his squad.

Being a mate to this handsome dashing warrior brings out Nadia's strong, brave, badass side, and allows her to soar in ways she never dreamed of.

This is another romance where the heroine is described as "tall" compared to the other girls, but of course since the Kalaxians are all over 7 feet tall, not tall compared to them.

In this episode (they're all standalone but do feed into each other) a missing Kalaxian warrior comes back after 3 years away and finds himself mated to Nadia, a 20 year old former dancer on Earth who was abducted with her sister Brielle in the first set of rescued Terrans. Brielle is very overprotective. Nadia leaves to take a walk with Satir and comes back weeks later after being attacked on his ship, and goes all over because Satir has a bounty on his head. I've enjoyed all the books in this series and this one is no exception. It wasn't really that different from other stories in the series so I think I'd call it a 4.5 rather than a 5 since there isn't much of a "hook" that makes it more exciting (though all the books have adventures) than others in the series.

The story is pretty good, but I found the abusive sister a bit difficult to deal with, especially since she was framed as trying to protect from abuse.
