this is a really weird book. two short stories are the frame of one longer story about a young woman living with her father, who is seriously ill. One day they discover that the father has a long lost brother, who is a big action movie star. and then it gets more and more strange.
if you want to read something different, this is for you. it's artsy in line art and angles and the narrative is jumpy. but in a way it was a refreshing experience.

I picked this up on a whim because the art seemed quirky and different. I'm not entirely sure what to say about the stories in here, they were so peculiar but in a great way. This little collection has beautiful and powerful messages that are delivered in an incredibly unique manner. I would love to check out more of DeForge's work.
