The Endless and Other Stories by Brandon Baker

Baker can write an ending! And his unreliable narrators are especially haunting (“Beautiful” was my personal favorite). Each one of these stories are unique and unpredictable. I finished the book in under 2 hours!

There is very little dialogue in these stories, and because of that, the protagonists have few relationships and feel expendable. I also think it could have used one more round of editing. There was some word repetition and the sentence structure could have been stronger at times.

I enjoyed every premise immensely and believe this is a very promising start to Baker’s writing career.

This short collection of short stories packs quite a punch. Popular Booktoker Brandon Baler aka Baker.reads blessed us with his first published work. These stories are brutal and hard hitting. Cat Dad literally raised my pulse! Horror fans everywhere really need to take the time to read this, it is one of the best I’ve read all year!

This collection of queer horror stories is absolutely fantastic!
The stories are so original, I’ve never seen any of these ideas anywhere before. The writing is evocative, chilling, and disgusting.

A must read for fans of queer horror!!!

A fun, creepy, and quick read! Each story was dark and twisted. The Last Hike was so intense! I can’t wait to read more haunting stories by Brandon.
