This book started out strong but grew somewhat stagnant and the ending felt like it was just thrown together without any real thought. Too much was left unresolved or had weak, unsatisfactory resolutions. Overall, it was fine. I don't regret reading it but will not be re-reading it.

I DNF-ed this before, but I’m glad it I picked it up again. This time, the book resonated so much to me. I felt sad and even cried on some parts. This book is like a hug, to all who were left behind. It is comforting, but somehow painful. Each one of the has a sad story to tell. There’s no redemption arc or anything, but you’ll just understand everything. I’m glad i gave this book a chance.

i love how each chapter started with a playlist. i thought it was really interesting and helped set the mood for the chapter. however, Sam's constant comments towards his sister regarding her makeup and outfits are annoying as hell and don't really add much to the story. the reveal at the end was kind of shit, i just didn't find it enjoyable. but overall, it was pretty okay and im not mad at it.
