Fun enough for a palate cleanser but omg there are a few things about this book and this series in general that drive me NUTS. WHY is this series which centers around a collegiate HOCKEY team set in CALIFORNIA. Makes absolutely no sense. I know that the author is British because all of the characters talk like they are British lol someone from Seattle is not using phrases like “gobsmacked” and “set alight” in casual conversation.
