It was nothing special l, and pretty obvious what was going to happen. It was pretty neat that it took place in the modern day

but I feel selling your hair for $3000 is a little unrealistic

If I didn't know beforehand that this was a novella, I NEVER would've guessed. Shear Heaven made me a complete MESS. Not only was it a modern retelling of Rapunzel, but also combined with Romeo and Juliet. The love between Nico and Bella was so POWERFUL it brought tears to my eyes. I don't re-read books, but I might have to re-read Shear Heaven until Katy graces us with her next Fairytale.

Un fairytale retelling molto breve che si ispira alla storia di Raperonzolo (anche se a tratti assomiglia di più a Cenerentola). 
La lingua inglese si alterna a quella italiana (che è sempre seguita dalla traduzione): l'effetto non è particolarmente affascinante, anzi... 
I vari personaggi non sembrano ben sviluppati, forse per la brevità della storia. Ad esempio, la sorella gemella del protagonista maschile ha una plot line specifica che si sarebbe potuta portare avanti meglio sfruttando i vari temi che la caratterizzano. 
In generale, un libro piatto, eccessivamente mieloso e forse un po' cringey. 
Non lo rileggerei.
