I've been practicing yoga on and off for 14 years and I'm so fucking thankful to have completely had my ass handed to me by this woman's wisdom. I have 6 free weeks to her classes on The Underbelly and I feel like a brand new baby student all over again. The experience is deeply humbling, joyful, and revealing new things to me each time I get on the mat.
Mini TWs for lots of other things, but one of the major takeaways from this book is that life is supposed to be uncomfortable, and that people are gonna say shit that pisses you off and you can thank them for it. Embracing that discomfort is the whole point (well, a major one, at least) of yoga.
