It’s amazing how much of an incredible writer Jessamyn is. What a demonstration of reflexivity and with stories and advice that give me so much to think about.

I absolutely LOVED this book. While I do not actively practice yoga I see a lot of ties to mental health and ways to focus on living a more optimal life! I am running to get “Every Body Yoga” because….why not?

i got some really interesting quotes from this book. it really helped me understand what some other people get out of yoga. sometimes while i’m in yoga i find my mind racing with thought and worries while hitting the poses but i think this book helped me understand why all these practices help. i liked the casual tone of the book and it was like having an intense and deep discussion about yoga. it was interesting reading the authors thoughts about coming to terms with the appropriation of yoga by America.

Real, raw and often beautiful. Jessamyn’s voice is so needed in the yoga community. Grateful for this book.
