Going into this book, I was worried about the second book sydrome , where the second book of a series (especially of a trilogy) would often underdeliver, serving only as a transitional piece between book one and three. Thankfully, this book delivered. And more.
It's not hard to get me excited while reading books. In fact, that's probably why we read a lot. Despite several jarring flaws, whether in the irregural pacing, boring characters, convoluted plot, shoddy writing, if we can find one good aspect of a book, we'll enjoy our times nonetheless.
I enjoyed Words of Radiance. But I'm also in awe of it.
This might just be the most complete story I've ever read. It has a great, flowing and matching narrative, immersive worldbuilding (feels like I know more about Roshar than Earth sometimes), sublime action scenes, deep character development, and such amazing pacing I didn't feel like I've read a 1000+ page book. I'd enjoy a book that had either one of these, but all of them? In a single book? Storms.
The story Brandon has crafted around the Stormlight Archive is a mesmerizing one, one I'd definitely recommend anyone, avid reader or not, to experience for themselves. It really is quite a journey.

The 2nd book of the Stormlight Archive did not disappoint. The political scheming, ethical dilemmas, and battle scenes made the 1,300 pages 100% worth it

I don't think I went through a book faster than this. So many questions from WoK were answered, opening up many more.
