WOW just WOW.

He smoothed an absent hand down his tie. “Do you know what assuming gets you?”
“Killed?” I breathed.
His eyes fell to my lips. “Smart girl.”

I heard a lot about this book and must say I'm far from disappointed.

This man would eat me alive.
But he was so warm, felt so right, it was hard to even care.

Smut wise there are 3½ scenes, compared to the size of the book it really not much but the tension and overall story made up for it. 🌶🌶🌶/5.

I didn’t know what to do with this woman, but I did know I was keeping her. Every time I saw her, my blood burned hotter, searing the word mine into my chest.

I liked the MCs pretty much the whole book even though of course they had their faults. Nico being the biggest Asshole in the Cosa Nostra and Elena having a secret and lying to him. I had trouble sympathizing with her towards the end bcs I personally have trust issues bit she had her reasons. Miscommunication and in general the lack of communication is definitely a big theme her so be prepared.

LOVED THIS BOOK.
Definitely my favorite book right now, I finished it in like a day. Nico is hilarious throughout the book, and Elena was a strong character. The plot wasn’t to heavy and neither were the characters. I feel like it balanced out good. THE SMUT? Definitely good.

10/10 book.

Kind of hate how much I loved this book. But it was a perfect amount of enemies to lovers, smut, and some more emotional parts that honestly would have been fine to leave out. Excellent quick read!
