2024 Year of Classics

cw/tw: torture, violence, animal cruelty and animal death

This was a great way to start my 2024 reading year. Poe is one of my favorite classic writers and this collection proves why. His writing is hauntingly beautiful, his stories are terrifying on a psychological level, and his stories, despite scarring me, always make me want to come back for more. This was a quick read, but well worth it. If you want classic horror, look no further than Edgar All Poe's works.
