Ohmygosh. I don't even know where to start.
This book means a lot to me.
I related to Ben so much, and we're actually so similar, it kinda feels like this book was written about me, for me. Is that weird?
Except the chances are higher that my parents wouldn't kick me out but uhh yeah, let's not jinx that.
I loved how the plot was relatively light hearted, while also going into the serious things at just the right amount. Again, very relatable as an enby person myself.
Absolutely loved the support from Bens sister, her husband and Nathan, which comforted me a lot and gave me a lot of hope.
It made me realise, like, actually feel like I deserve to be loved (romantically and platonically), and not less because I'm nonbinary.
Now, where's my Nathan? >:)/lh

This is one of those books that makes you stop, breathe, and just feel. I seriously wish teenage me had this in high school, what a gift it would’ve been. It’s raw, tender, and so beautifully written, with a story that holds space for identity, growth, and self-acceptance in the most compassionate way.
I’m so grateful this book exists for young readers today (and honestly, for grown-up me too).

i found this book to be really quite nice, definitely a groundbreaking story and so so important to have more stories about non-binary teens and youth!
i wish it was longer to be honest, and i would have loved for the relationships between ben and all the characters to be developed a bit more, but loved ben and nathan's relationship journey so so much!
also happy international non-binary peoples day!
