Let's start with what I hated; that cover sucks! I loved the beauty that was Seafire cover and looks like they redid that too... why?
I was afraid it wasn't going to live up to Seafire, as the girls were split apart, but thankfully Caledonia wasn't a character dependent on her crew for her personality. I liked the addition of new characters. I have to admit that I didn't see coming at all. Learned a lot more about the background of Oran and Aric. I wish that Cala had talked more with Ares to gain insight into how things are done. Or at least they had shown Pisces talk to him some. But despite all that, it was a thrilling and emotional ride. And that ending....

This is a great book, engrossing and entertaining. I loved every moment and couldn't put it down.

might be because i devoured this during a power outage but i liked this one Sooooo much more than it’s predecessor. i was debating even reading it but i’m very glad i did
Loved it! Fastest I've read a book in a long time! Starting to really get some Katniss Everdeen vibes from our girl Caledonia. About to start the third book, can't wait to see how this series wraps up!
