I don't hate this book because i'm a YA reader, in fact i've read adult books that i find decent. This one was a easy quick read and i only liked one of the characters, as i personally found most to be jerks, including the main character who kept going boy after boy. Her boy best friend had cared for her for a long time yet she disrespects his feelings by going on dates with his dad. I couldn't believe it. I get the message that a boy and a girl can be just friends, as i have had a few. But like i mentioned, she kept on getting with other guys when she had one for years that actually cared. The one character that i found decent died and the MC's mum disgusted me for not believing what her daughter told her.

The whole book is literally a girl going after guys that cause trouble. She is a jerk as much as they are. Also, to me the tittle of the book doesn't fit the story, it just feels like they put that just because.

My first ever Danielle Steel! I've avoided reading her for so long, being an ardent rebel against the chick-lit genre, but I finally succumbed and gave her a go. It wasn't as bad an experience as I had imagined, to be honest, and that surprised me. She's actually not a bad writer technically, and her characters stand for themselves in a realistic way, I suppose. What I didn't like was the storyline itself. It started out fine and built up quite well, but the ending was mediocre and anticlimactic. I felt there were so many more interesting routes she could have taken with this and the ending just seemed lacklustre and cliched.

As far as my future with Danielle Steel, hmmm... this novel hasn't put me off giving her another go, but if the same thing happens again I'll call it quits on her.

“There was something inside him which was dying to reach out and be loved. And there was something like that in her too.”

this book was bad. i did, in fact, cut it up to collage tho so at least it did something for me than just sitting there on my bookshelf

I remembered quite a few details but not all....and I cried like I did the first time on parts I had forgotten. Great book!! I was reading two at once and put the other one aside to finish Full Circle.

One of my favorite Danielle Steel books of them all! Always liked the main character's name and gave it to my daughter when she was born!

Not the typical story and I love how the story begins just before Tana is born and finishes when she is in her 40s. We grow up with her.
One thing that I like about it is that it feels real, it's not a fairy tale story (even though I love to read some of those).
