DID NOT FINISH: 27%

Truly a masterpiece by Dostoyevsky in terms of writing. However, this one was not a book for me. I could not stand the main characters and the plot line was so painful for me that I could not proceed with the reading and I ended up giving up on it halfway through... Maybe the element that was so missing for me was the fact that while we see so many painful decisions that the characters make, we do not see what is going on inside the characters' heads. The combination of those too left me absolutely upset and furious (with the characters) all the time...!
