It feels hard to give books a 5 star rating, because all books must be flawed in some way or another. But there are some books that, despite their flaws, you feel intrinsically are a 5 star for you. This is one for me!

It’s finally time to admit that this book isn’t for me. After many years and many different attempts at trying to read it, I’m pulling the plug.

It’s beautifully written, wonderfully atmospheric, and an interesting concept, but the brutally slow pace has killed any excitement I first felt and I began to dread reading it.
