I've cried laughing reading this book years ago and forgot a very key moment of the book which sparked an awkward conversation with my 12 year old cousin when I gave it to her to read.

When the aim is to create a kind, endearing, and sympathetic world, it is pleasing when a writer manages to create a kind, endearing, and sympathetic world.

It’s one of those deals where I would like to be a Will, I would have liked to have a Will, I would like to have a Marcus, and I would have liked to have been a Marcus, even though I know that the whole spiel is unbearably serendipitous and cutesy.

Decent book. It reminded me of 'the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime'. A coming of age story, in which it is not exactly clear if the 12 year old, his new 36 year old friend or his mom needs to grow up. Another nice, light feelgood read!
