Minecraft: The Island is about a person who wakes up in the Minecraft world and has to survive. The story shows how they make mistakes, like using TNT wrong, but keep trying and get braver. I liked the part with the cow because it made the character feel less alone. The story felt hopeful because they learned and got better.

Great book for Minecraft fans and everyone in the family. My 8 and 6 year olds LOVED it, I thought it was great, Grandma is reading it now because I told her it would be a Good way to understand what they’re talking about all the time.
If you choose this, definitely listen to the audio book by Jack Black, he did amazing. I listened to this with my 7 year old and we both really enjoyed it. It brings the world of Minecraft to a level where you don't have to have any previous knowledge about Minecraft to follow along easily.
