One of my least favourite Stephen King novels. I liked the build up, but didn't like the ending. I was very involved up until the last 60 or so pages, then I tuned out a bit.

I have very mixed feelings about this book. Parts of it are surprisingly engaging, other parts bore me to tears. By Stephen King standards, this book is morning jog in its pacing and length, so it didn't overstay its welcome. I found the ending both lame and frightening at the same time. No one can do that aside from King.

I'm not a huge fan of Stephen King. Horror is not my thing. However, I did enjoy Under the Dome and 11/22/63, and Revival seemed like it would be in the same vein - not too gory or scary, but still suspenseful.

Definitely not scary. Wasn't very suspenseful, either. In fact, the book starts very slowly and doesn't start to gain any momentum until 75% of the way through. What momentum it did gain, was still a meandering pace that just made me glad when the book ended.
