This book guides you through the benefits and mindfulness of drawing. It provides a reminder that "Everyone can draw" and that "There are no exceptions (to this). Absolutely none."
It provides multiple tasks or activities you can do to begin to draw mindfully. I have yet to do these tasks so cannot comment on them but I know I will come back to their offer, the further activities and reading the book cites and my many tabbed quotes when I need to. It will be a book I keep picking up.
Personally, I was hoping for more talk on the importance of art and drawing, as that's what interests me and is the reason I read the book.
However, the book does what it says on the tin, is well worth a read and is an inspiring reminder of how "drawing has the power to effortlessly lead us into a deeper relationship with ourselves and the world around us".
