Confused by the art development into giant eyes. Does it signal in-world developments, or did the artist just take a hyperanime turn on the eyes specifically?
Feeling mixed about the story. I love some parts of it, frustrated by the background storytelling. There's a lot of teasing there and I don't feel reassured that it's ever going to pay off. But I do love the nightmares, the individual storylines in the now paying off.

I only have the first three volumes, and I'm not sure if I'm going to spend 20 euros per next volume to finish the series, given my mixed feelings atm.

same deal. i feel like it's fundamentally pretty sexist and insulting. at the same time, look, i've read three of them.

The art style is changing, I really don't like the enlarged anime-style eyes he's started doing but the storyline has started picking up. I like seeing characters start to flesh out and I love Trilby.

This was a massive volume (physically as well as content). This is the volume tnat really made me fall in love with Mara. In the first book, I really disliked her. I also disliked Trilby too. Both of these characters became quite charming in this volume. I love Trilby's new tattoo (Cleo's not so much...).

It's is in this volume that we really see the old 'evil' Cleo! It's kinda refreshing to know that she wasn't always so nice (sometimes she comes off as having no backbone in the first book or two).

As always, the ending was a real shocker! I couldn't wait to pick up the next book!
