I really enjoyed this book. I found it a bit slow for the first 2/3 as there were many story lines but they all merge towards the end and it is great!

Isolation #2. I haven’t been putting as much time into books as I thought I would because I’ve discovered the joy of print magazines. The printed medium in general is a great, calming activity in this sea of constant updates and digital connection.

I love this trilogy very much and it has been great to revisit it after so many years. The directions that Pullman takes the story are wild, outlandish and never cease to surprise.

I can’t wait to see the television production of this story. My only hope is that the show isn’t cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 shenanigans.

I wish the story would be just a little longer, though I don't expect much at this point. Such an excellent trilogy; you don't really know what's going on, and heck, I'm still not quite sure what happened, but I just went with it as I read the story. I wish I had a daemon! Perhaps I do, though much like Mary, it would take a certain concentration to see her.

Regardless, fantastic story, and I'm looking forward to watching the show when it comes out in the future!
