While much of the content is troubling, disturbing, and hard, this book was worth the discomfort. I don't want to give anything away, but do make sure you read the Afterword.

Story's bones were great and up to about 3/4 of the way through the book really gripped me. However some events happen that make the story both hard to follow, as well as slow down the pace of the story dramatically which really made me have to power through. 

It was a good library read.

A must read. I was a bit puzzled by it at first, but it falls into place and knocks you off your feet. 

It is a dark book for sure. The last chapters made my skin itch. But it is thrilling. I read the second half of this book in hours - I couldn’t put it down!

I adore this book. If I didn’t have a number of books to read right now I’d start it again to confirm if everything pieces neatly together as I suspect. To avoid spoiling anything, I’ll simply suggest you read the book if it sounds interesting to you. I feel the author has done a fantastic job telling this story and I honestly think it’s now one of my favorites. I look forward to reading more of her books!
