This was so boring. At 94% i gave up.

Imagine reading 90% smut and 10% intimate writing and plot. Seriously, it needs revamping.

The top ⭐️⭐️ review has said it and I’m in agreement.

This entire book felt like bait for anyone who likes a headstrong FMC.

FMC is weak. Yes, she is abused by her mother and her sister doesn’t do much about that outside of verbal chastisement and not listening to her sister’s wants and needs.

The pack at least diversified MMCs. But there were too many coincidences for me to feel like this is natural and organic.

One of the MMCs is an artist and has paintings from a ~mysterious~ artist. And then the FMC in her monologue launches how she’s that ~mysterious~ artist.

Wow.

Such great storytelling.

Not to mention, like all books, proper prep for any-non-vanilla sex is out of the question. We have maybe a few conversations? Maybe? But hygiene? While we don’t need to see all the hygiene routines characters go through, if MCs are fucking in the dirt…yeah, we need some added information about hygiene.

FMC ends up hearing something out of context, which breaks her fragile mindset, and she runs off. She’s smart and not that smart about getting away. She leaves her phone but goes to the park she always runs at. I was hoping she actually left-left. As in, she’s so fed up that she leaves.

For example, it would’ve been interesting if, she as an artist, was proposed to opening her own exhibit/gallery for a limited run time just to test the waters. And this would happen in some other distant city. FMC is hesitant about revealing her identity. But when the FMC breaks from everyone around her allegedly being against her and only wanting her sister, she could agree to the gallery, leave behind her phone, and leave everyone in the dust. And no, no one knows that she’s the ~mysterious~ artist, only that she likes their work.

From there, the one alpha finds her at the gallery, since he remembers how she liked the artist. She confesses she IS the artist. The alpha convinces her to meet the others. A conversation happens. The sister is there, but the FMC finally confesses that being a twin is suffocating with a serious case of identity crisis and while she loves her sister, she needs time apart. Sister tries to talk about the mother but the FMC says she needs time away. Maybe a brief conversation but the FMC essentially says she will consider her mother as such when she’s earned it.
