this book showed lily and lo’s pov from the past two books so it was a tad repetitive for me. it took me days to finish because it’s just going back to the same scenes from the other books and i found it boring. i understand however that this is a filler book of what happened to lilo in the past 2 years that focused on coballoway and raisy. i love how this book emphasizes that healing isn’t linear and you could go back to feeling ill in some days yet still feel well in others. it feels so nice seeing lilo’s recovery knowing they’ve come a long way since book 1. can’t wait to read their final book ❤️‍🩹

Since the Addicted/Calloway series is meant to be read intertwined, "Thrive" was essentially just a recap of "Kiss the Sky" and "Hothouse Flower" but from LiLo's POV. Nonetheless, I still really enjoyed it and thought that it gave a good insight to a lot of the moments that happened in those two books. Despite how frustrating Lily and Lo can be sometimes, what I love about them most is how transparent their love is no matter what life throws at them. Their story has given me such a new appreciation to the way that addiction can hurt people, yet how strong they are for waking up each and every day and pushing through it. This book made me look forward to for their hopeful happy ending in their final book even more and I can't wait to read it. <3
