An incredible testament to the idea of what is grief if not love persisting.

Beautiful exploration of how absurd life is, especially love, grief, and religion - my favorite things.

Really lovely, eloquent, sometimes profound essay/memoir/meditation on grief and love. I thought she occasionally got bogged down on details that felt to me a bit like she needed to process things, but it wasn’t such a big concern that it detracted from my overall appreciation of the work.

my favorite type of book/genre -- presented through a Maggie Nelson-esque exploration through what KS's mental repertoire with beautiful memoir/autobiographical moments weaved through out each other. When I read, I search for books that will provide the experience I had when reading this book.
