The audiobook narrator definitely improved this story. I think the humor works with the audio book better than it might on the page.

Absolutely adorable and hilarious. Everything with his huge crush and his new accidental book gets out of hand for Preston quite quickly! It's tough when your impulse control is low, your thoughts fly through your head a million miles a minute (how'd you end up on Wikipedia again?), anxiety kicks your butt, and you can't tell your best friend you're in love.

This was a fast and mostly enjoyable read, even though I found the main character too self-absorbed and bordering on obnoxious. (To be fair, his best friend and the other friends we get to see aren't any better for the most part.)

What I liked most about this book was a healthy look at conventionally "romantic" gestures and how bothersome and unromantic they are when someone tries to pull that BS in real life, especially when they try to use it as a replacement for honest communication.
This was such a welcome dose of reality, especially after the last book I read (by Sarah Jio), which was all about romanticizing the stupid pseudo-romantic BS.

A very queer and very cute friends-to-lovers romance with plenty of wackiness on the side.

Very funny book. I loved all of the characters but the main character can be alittle annoying. He went into a tangent about fingers for a min. He has too many thoughts that have nothing to do with the plot. The thoughts make him relatable but he goes into these ramblings too much.
