Generation is the first in a series of nine volumes. It jumps right into the action of an alien encounter and is non-stop action. It’s interesting to read a story which follows the characters down some dead ends and changes of plans. I think that it adds personality to the characters. I would have liked to learn a little more about the world this takes place in, but I’m hoping this will come out in some of the other books in the series, and I've received enough that I’m willing to wait. 4 out of 5 on Goodreads
