Είναι το πρώτο βιβλίο του Montanari που διαβάζω. Γενικά μου αρέσουν πάρα πολύ τα αστυνομικά και γενικά οτιδήποτε έχει μυστήριο, και οι εκδόσεις Bell έχουν πολύ ωραία αστυνομικά. Με το συγκεκριμένο βιβλίο έπαθα κάτι πρωτότυπο. Από την στιγμή που το ξεκίνησα δεν μπορούσα να το αφήσω από τα χέρια μου. Είναι από τα λίγα βιβλία τα οποία έχουν δράση από την πρώτη σελίδα και αυτό το εκτιμώ δεόντως. O Κέβιν αρχικά μου φάνηκε αρκετά ψυχρός αλλά από ένα σημείο και μετά οι ατάκες του ήταν υπέροχες. Βέβαια πιο πολύ αγάπησα την Τζέσικα η οποία "κεντούσε" με τις ατάκες αλλά και το υπέροχο και δυναμικό χαρακτήρα της, Το τέλος δεν μπορώ να πω πως το περίμενα ως προς τον δολοφόνο. Την ιδιότητα την είχα φανταστεί αλλά τον χαρακτήρα όχι. Ακόμη μια αποκάλυψη για τον ονειροφαντη ήταν νομίζω το κάτι άλλο. Σίγουρα είναι ένα βιβλίο που προτείνω και θα ψάξω και για άλλα βιβλία του συγγραφέα.

A complex + elaborate thriller from Montanari; I'd expect nothing less! A fantastically gritty read with an abundance of shocks to keep you guessing throughout

Μετά από ένα μέτριο προς καλό βιβλίο, ευτυχώς επανήλθε δυναμικά! Έλα όμως που το επόμενο της σειράς δεν έχει μεταφραστεί στα Ελληνικά... Μπαίνω άμεσα να το πάρω στα Αγγλικά, δεν γίνεται να το αφήσω έτσι. Είμεθα και ψυχαναγκαστικοί βεβαίως βεβαίως.

I like Richard Montanari's characters but I prefer his earlier books, I have found the plots of his later books have become more vague and less enjoyable.
