I read this anthology August '20 thru August '21. It has carried me through the gold and red Autumn and the long, blue, lonely Winter in Uppsala, and then through the Spring and Summer in Munich. Gorgeous poems, though through quite a white lense.

Great book of poetry, I got this book from my local library and now I think I might buy this book to fully enjoy it.

The description of this book claims that it includes modern poetry, but I made it through the first hundred pages and didn't find even one modern poet (unless you include the one poet who died during the Clinton administration, but I don't). I like classic poetry, but I didn't think I was buying a whole five hundred pages of it.
The printing is also poor quality--my book came with a big chunk of pages mangled and fused together. I had to awkwardly cut them apart to open the book all the way.

I can't recommend this book, unfortunately.

A brilliant poetry book I loved every minute of it. It was beautifully layed out, printed in green writing I loved it so much I resent taking it back to the library, I wish I could keep it.
