First volume in a new series by J.C. Hutchins -- Addison Creed is summoned to fulfill his part of a deal he made, swept up into an unexpected fight to save the world from a mysterious threat. The book reads like part action thriller, part superhero origin, and although this first installment is brief, it's quite satisfying and worth a look.
