Love this book maybe even more then the first one. I listened it on Spotify but now I'm through my listening hours so I have to wait till next month to listen to the next book!! Love this series so much! Not my usual genre (that's why I listen to the audiobooks) but love it soooo much!

This is one of the best book series I’ve ever read! This one wasn’t as good as the first one but extremely close behind. Age 14+

If you liked the first book,  you'll like this one.

The podcast format was pretty tough to belive but if you look past that,  it was busy as good as the first one.

the plot is insane - i could not recall it now if you asked me. (at least not exactly).
it was extremely suspenseful and i binge-read the last third of it, because i simply could NOT put it away.

it is super interesting how this book (series) deals with the idea of "good" and "bad" - noone is really completely "good" and noone is thoroughly "bad" either.

apart from that i also love how holly jackson plays with the formatting in suspenseful scenes, and her writing style is (apart from genius and very clear-cut) also full of metaphors. i love it!

I read the first AGGGTM book in late 2021 and for some reason never finished off this series, but boy am I glad I am now! I appreciated how easy this story was to get in to, not much information is needed from the previous book but they still have a very strong connection.

Honestly my main (and really only) qualm with this book is how young Pip is! It's hard for me to wrap my head her only being 17/18, like hello adults in her life help her??? why is pip chasing down murders and solving misssing persons cases before graduating high school!?

I do love the additional case files, podcast excerpts, and photos added in really keeps me in the action. Jamie is an intriguing character and I loved getting to learn about him!

"Mysteries always seem to find their way to you, don't they?" - p. 130

Now THIS is what I call a sequel! It's been a minute since I read the first book in the series, but Holly Jackson does a great job at dropping you back into this small town with more secrets than it can keep. Pip has vowed to attempt to solve a crime again for her safety as well as the safety of those she holds dear; however, as the quote states, mysteries find their way to her doorstep. Connor, one of the kids in her grade, approaches her and begs her to help find his missing brother. Since no one else will help him, she decides she must take on this missing person's case. Jackson carefully lays out the clues for this case as the trial for events in the previous book plays out in the background. I loved the podcast element of this book as well. The ending is a mixed back of emotions but I simply cannot wait to see what Pippa gets up to in the final installment of this series.
