I liked this book even though it's not my usual genre. I wanted a long book for a trip. The audiobook was 20 hours.

I like the twist that Hell is full of nice demons.  I like all the ways that Lily was able to get revenge on random awful people who showed at her help desk. I like that Lily showed how Heaven isn't necessarily the best place to go to in the afterlife. I like the choices that Lily made throughout the story. I loved the Sharkie character
and that we get to see her grow up.

OMG the male narrator's voice was very sultry! I don't think this book needed to be as long as it was but if it hadn't been that long, there might not have been time for
all the sex scenes.

Omg this is the perfect mix of found family and complex family dynamics. The way it deals with religion and religious trauma is new and engaging. I laughed, cried, and reevaluated the way I viewed the world. It was a genuine joy to read and I found myself deeply connecting to the fmc. I will say if you are extremely religious this book is probably not for you. But if you have some unhealed wounds from the church this book will make you feel very seen!!!!

I want to start off by saying I am incredibly stingy with my 5 star reads. It’s very hard for me to justify it. But man….this book was 5 stars practically from the beginning!! I stopped reading bc I didn’t want to finish it, I didn’t want it to end! I’ve had some religious trauma and still struggle with it. I struggle a lot with my family as well and the way they treat me. Not only can I relate to Lily so incredibly well, but I get comfort from how she grows and accepts and deals with her own mental illnesses!! This book was so good at showing HEALTHY communication and healing and boundaries!! I cried so much, in the best way. It was so funny too, I was busting out laughing. And the spice???? 5/5 for that too, SO GOOD. Just, read this book, for real. My new favorite!

"Forever isn't guaranteed, not even here princess."
"You keep redefining paradise for me."
"The realm of paradise doesn't have any particular faith attached to it and souls who reside there have their own unique paradise."

Big thank you to Sagapressbooks for an ALC! The voice narrators did a wonderful job!! It was easy to listen to this and enjoyable as well, especially with it being 24 hours!

I really really enjoyed this story a lot, I was not expecting to go on a series of different journeys / emotional turmoil with each character and relate to most characters when they are essentially finding their own paradise. I loved the numerous representations of age, culture, identities, genders, and more in the story. It was always incorporated in a respectful way and truly showcased and a wide view of life and every in it. The story telling in this book is magnificent, I absolutely felt all the feelings Lily and the others experienced throughout the story. Some scenes were gut wrenchingly sad, but it was so real and I like how the author combined such important life experiences, and themes into the story that makes the reader think and see both sides of the effect of entering into the afterlife. The world building in this romatansy is stellar and easy to understand and grasp as well because it is something every reader can relate to. The idea of death and the afterlife was written so well in this story and I absolutely loved the well rounded levels to the afterlife and showcasing the positives and negatives, the good and bad because life has people like that.

I absolutely love Lily's character so much, she is such a real, relatable character and very snarky as well. She is not the average FMC and I liked that her journey was not perfect, but it was still a journey where she was still learning about herself and the impact she has on others. Which brings me to the Sharky and Belle as well. The slow bread crumbs that is given to the reader about their past and current progress in the afterlife was written so well. This story includes a level of love, support, and kindness that I did not know I needed. It was as if the point was to showcase that life doesn't end in the afterlife, it keeps going.

I bought a copy for my sister and decided to read it before I gave it to her. It's not my preferred genre but it was very fun! I liked the characters a lot but lost interest towards the end.
