I am someone who followed Jaysea from her TikTok series called Hell's Belles, so I already had an idea about the plot and knew most of the primary characters going in.

That being said, Jaysea does an incredible job with this book. The pacing is comfortable and even though I had a rough sketch of the plot beforehand, that in no way prepared me for the emotional
boot-fuck
delivered as the catalyzing event in the book.

Hell's Belles veterans and newcomers alike, be prepared to cry. The character development shown within this book (and in contrast to the skits on TikTok) is lethal, and you will be cheering for these characters whether they're old friends or not.

I cannot wait to read the next book in the series, and this book will likely get a re-read very soon.

And if you ever see this: congratulations Jaysea. You
fucking
did it!

As a fan of the Hell’s Belles series on TikTok, I thoroughly enjoyed this glimpse into Lily’s (and Sharkie’s/Bel’s) life before the series began. Jaysea Lynn does an outstanding job of creating scenes that make you laugh, cry, blush, and everything in between.

Following Lily’s journey through the Afterlife and watching how the other characters I’ve grown to know and love on TikTok fit into the narrative was fantastic. I truly struggled to put this book down and focus on real life, because the story and descriptions felt so real. The struggles are relatable, the celebrations are just familiar enough, and I loved the little Easter egg at the very end (again, especially as someone who follows the series!)

I cannot express with words how much I enjoyed this book. I thought I would be captivated simply because I already love these characters, but this book stands strong without its internet history.

This was a deeply tragic book for me to read, but in a way that was healing and warm. I cannot wait even one more day for the next book.

Having followed Jaysea since nearly the start of Hell's Belles on TikTok, I was excited to see how these characters would transfer to a book and I am in awe... It's rare that a book gets me to laugh out loud, cry, sit in anxiety, and be aroused...but here I am. I felt a wide range of emotions. This book will sit with me for a while as not only is it an entertaining story, but some of the things Bel, Lily, and Sharkie say to each other resonate in such a way that I feel like I'm doing therapy in level 1 or 2 and working my way to my own paradise.

Thank you Jaysea for entertaining us all these last 4yrs. I can't wait for Penny and Greg's story.
