So good! Take one Dr and one nurse who have been avoiding the attraction between them for a year and add in champagne and New Years Eve and what do you get? You get a newly married couple with only a vague memory of what happened! Not only that, they both got promotions in honor of their marriage! This is a sassy, funny, sweet tale of second chances, understanding and love...it's just fabulous!

I love this series!! I really enjoyed this book. Eric & Faith took the slow route to realizing their feelings for each other, but there was enough tension to keep the pages turning until the end. I love also how characters from earlier books in the series make appearances, and they end with a teaser for the next book! I'll be eagerly awaiting book #7!!

Eric has had feelings for Faith since he moved to Austin and started working with her at the hospital. One night the two of them get too drunk and end up married. They don't sleep together because Eric discovered Faith was a virgin and didn't her first time to be when she was drunk. The two of them are offered a promotion by their Chief of Staff, who says he was touched by their marriage and they decide to pretend to be married until April when the Chief of staff retires and they get their promotions. Eric doesn't want it to be fake though and tries to date Faith but she is resistant. She knows that Eric doesn't want children or marriage and is afraid of falling in love with him and getting hurt.
Finally giving in to Eric's charm the two start sleeping together and spending more time together and Faith is happy to be with him until she discovers she's pregnant. Knowing he doesn't want children Faith decides to leave Austin and not tell him about the baby. When Eric discovers it on his own he must convince Faith he loves her and now wants what she wants and that includes their baby.

I liked this book but didn't like how cold Faith was to Eric. I thought the way she acted toward him was juvenile and in complete contrast to how she treated others and what her personality was like in previous books. Eric was charming and obviously really cared about Faith and my heart would break for him when she was icing him out and avoiding him. I did like the two as a couple but not nearly as much as I've liked previous couples in this series.
