Flame

I really want to make a flame on joke but I’ll resist.

“The tiny little crush my ‘is he an arsonist’ obsession turned into has developed into full-blown unrequited… something. I’m not ready to say love, but I have the strongest suspicion I’m just fooling myself.”

Yes you are Bran, and Flame is definitely your match! Thank goodness for Cody, in more than one way, but when it comes to Bran, he needed the push. Im so happy our lovable, quirky family keeps growing, and I can’t wait to see who Zephyr gets paired with.

Flame has to be the most level-headed one out of the Elemental Men, and his story is a great addition to this series of novellas. His relationship with Bran is adorable, as the chemistry was built between their repeated meetings and miscommunication about arsonists. I love how each novella adds more to the overall story and solution they are looking for - I have to keep reading to figure the whole thing out!
Thank you to Louisa Masters and The Author Agency for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Reading how Bran and Flame went back and forth while trying to figure out their feelings for each other (with plenty of meddling from their family members) made this novella such a fun read,
Spoilerbut I ABSOLUTELY LOVED CODY! The way this literal teenager was the smartest person (so far) in the series—completely figuring out everyone’s elements within seconds of meeting them—was such a boss move ✋
