Reading how Bran and Flame went back and forth while trying to figure out their feelings for each other (with plenty of meddling from their family members) made this novella such a fun read, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED CODY! The way this literal teenager was the smartest person (so far) in the seriesβcompletely figuring out everyoneβs elements within seconds of meeting themβwas such a boss move βπΌ.

More cuteness! This little world is expanding, one element at a time. Flame is, obviously, fire incarnate. And of course his fated mate is a fire fighter, Bran. Branβs genius little brother wonβt let him get away with ignoring the attraction between the two. And Aether of course encourages it all. An arsonist is caught, using Flameβs one-ness with fire. I thought this story would go more in the direction of building a case for a corporate villain based on the last installment. But maybe the moral will be that we are complicit in the destruction of the plant. Only one way to know - on to Zephyrβs story!

β π΅π»π°πΌπ΄ is the embodiment of the fire element.His task is to work with the other three elements and the essence of life to keep balance on earth and private the world and human from doing what we know how to do best,which is destroy anything beautiful,and in this case,itβs that only planet we have and the only one we can survive in.So anytime thereβs an out of control fire,flame is always there to rain it in and keep it balanced enough so that the firefighters can take care of it and thatβs how he started having a crush on one of the firefighters,but unfortunately for him,his crush thinks heβs an arsonist because heβs always at the sight of every fire they put out.π€£
β π±ππ°π½ is a hot,sweet and Kind firefighter who lives with his genius teenage brother,who also happens to be a great cook[not important,just wanted everyone to know that π²πππ’ can cookβ₯οΈπ€£].π±πππ feels like he has failed his younger brother,since heβs often not home due to his job and canβt send his brother to one of those expensive school for gifted children.So to keep his brotherβs mind working and occupied,he gave him a task,the task entails him finding out about the hot man with red fire hair whose always at the scene of the fires.
β Iβm so happy π΅π»π°πΌπ΄ has π±ππ°π½ now.He finally got his firefighter,the man he has been obsessing over for years from afar,and it turned out the fire fighter has also been attracted to him all these years,so itβs clearly a match made by the universe.There was not a lot of on page time with them as a couple,but I still felt their love for each other.
β I love that their family is expanding and they are getting help and bringing more awareness to their fight for the environment.Am also so happy that they are all finally getting a fated mate,I canβt imagine how lonely those many incarnations were for them.And π²πππ’ my favorite teenager in book,heβs smart and funny and the way he encouraged his brother to go after the man he loves made him my favorite character in this book.
