Loved a few of the stories hated a few of the stories. There was one I wish I hadn’t finished and one I didn’t. Loved the J.T Ellison and the Tori Bovalino. I have never read the latter and will be looking for her books. It had a very Ninth House vibe.

I finally have no more short story collections on my physical TBR and I therefore swear to not buy any more short story collections again unless they're from my all time favourite authors because despite the fact that I know I don't like anthologies I always seem to buy them anyways. So I'm done with them thank you I'm not doing this to myself anymore

My expectations were far too high and as always when that’s the case, the outcome is very much not what expected.

That isn’t to say i hated this or anything like that, but i did like some stories more than others, but i can say that the ones that felt more dark academia to me were probably: Pythia, The Hare and the Hound, X House, The professor of Ontography (creeped me out but was good) and Phobos.

my favorites were The Hare and the Hound by Kelly Andrew, The Ravages by Lange Fargo, The Professor of Ontography by Hellen Grant, Phobos by Tori Bovalino, and Playing by Phoebe Wynne.
