There were things I really liked, and things I really didn’t like. I enjoyed this enough to read some of Painter’s other adult romances, but I have a feeling I’m always going to prefer her young adult romances.
Okay so… Im honestly kind of disappointed with this one. I was expecting to give it 5 stars. Most of my problems lie with the main character.
I did not like Olivia. She was rude and selfish. The entire book she keeps mentioning about what a clutz/goofball she is, when in reality she doesn’t care. She sleeps in someone’s bed without asking for permission. Drinks a $400 bottle of tequila that Colin was saving for a special occasion and when he confronts her about it she doesn’t even apologize. She shames him for being rich. She lies to her job and then blames Colin for her boss finding out with no proof, and then calls the person who actually told her boss a bitch??? Like you did this to your self, you made an unnecessary lie and dealt with the consequences. She’s staying in this really nice condo for free and makes a mess and doesn’t clean up or say sorry?
Now Colin wasn’t my favorite either but he wasn’t terrible. I feel like he kept the whole mr. wrong number thing a secret way too long.
There were things I did like about this book. The cute/fluff scenes were enjoying to read. I feel like I was generous with the 2 stars but thats all I have to say.

2/5 ⭐️ (sorry)
UHMMM, well! this book has been a crazy journey. yet, I saw ZERO chemistry between the Collin & olivia
it’s not that I despise the book, but i just found the characters to be insanely annoying. for say, the FMC, Olivia Marshall, was extremely disrespectful, and ANNOYING. she kept jumping to conclusions left AND RIGHT throughout the ENTIRE BOOK, and I MEAN. the entire BOOK.
AND on top of that, drinking collins $400 bottle of liquid, and not even saying ONE sorry? then she was frustrated with collin being UPSET with her, and made HIM apologize to HER??? wheres the logic to this?
and don’t even get me started when the third act breakup came, she didn’t even let collin explain himself.
“Jack squinted. “You hate him. Why would he tell you?”
“I don’t hate him.” I stared at the TV without actually watching. He was leaving? He was leaving and wasn’t even going to tell me, like we were strangers? I felt like I couldn’t breathe.” oh my GOD OLIVIA. OF COURSE HE ISNT GOING TO TELL YOU IF HE THINKS YOU HATE HIM?
can we also talk abt how collin literally confessed his feelings to olivia, and she called him a joke..
enough talking abt olivia, let’s talk abt collin now. so collin, he was just.. there. I mean, he just seems like a plain average MMC. I felt like everything he did for olivia was the bare minimum. maybe not towards the end though, he stepped up a little bit.
sigh. honestly, this book would’ve been a lot more better, if olivia AND colin’s character were more developed.
anyways! to sum up my review. the ending sucked and the book was alright.

She’s cute, nothing special just is what it is. Felt a bit rushed.
