Cute and predictable. I didn't really like the female narrator (audiobook).

I went into this book thinking it was going to be another super cheesy, cute YA romance like the other Lynn Painter books I’ve read. So I was very surprised when the story leaned more adult, with open discussions about sex and some steamy scenes. I don’t mind that at all it just caught me off guard since I wasn’t expecting it from her!
There’s definitely good banter and the narration was really well done it brought the story and characters to life.
If you are into: light rom-com, brother’s best friend trope, flirting txt and chaotic FMC this might be for you!

someone get lucy hale on the phone and quick. this was so movie vibes like the whole time im reading going gosh i wish greg marcus would tell me to enjoy the show right now.
i would actually love an advice column from olivia. i just love hearing people with like that style of talking talk. also like hell yeah let’s burn down your apartment.
i also have no idea how they were going to work out the whole wrong number thing. what? is he just supposed to use the burner phone for the rest of his life? i changed my phone number in like 8th grade because costco was running a deal or something. let’s all take a field trip to costco.

This book referenced my literal favorite moment in cinematic history: Darcy’s hand flex.
super easy quick read! bit basic so a solid 3 for mee
Didn’t really like the narrator — not sure there’s a right time for me to read this, unfortunately.
