I don't even know what to say about this book. It was......hard to read. Hiram Hillburn was visiting his grandfather in Greenwood, Mississippi. He thinks his friend is involved in the murder of an African American boy named Emmett Till....this book goes on to tell about the trial and who was really involved. This is a fictional account of a true murder.

This book was okay it was hard to follow along sometimes but once you understood what was happening you were okay. My favorite character was Naomi Rydell. This was a book I would recommend to young adults only because you need to know the story before you read it and the story is a story meant for young adults in my opinion. All in all this book was a book that I would give four out of five stars to.
