A short story about a man who wants to kill himself and how he eventually changed his purpose in life. The plot involves a dream that he had, in which he experiance the evolution of society. It's an easy to read story, but it's more about the philosophical meanings that the author wants to express rather than the story itself.

This story was deep. It sucked me inside and I could relate to everything. Human psychology has been portrayed in one of the best ways ever. LOVED the writing style and language.

Beautiful, heartbreaking, and a hopeful read. Dostoevsky's profound understanding of human nature and how we live our lives is written across every word. A poignant story on learning how to love to live again.
