So far I like it better than 50 Shades. One steamy book. I am still really liking this book. My one negative thing would be - why does everyone who has a little erotic sex in books has to have the characters sexually molested in the past?

Sylvia Day definitely stole from EL James' playbook; billionaire, twenty-something man driven and haunted by something horrific in his past. Yes, it is a little better written then the 50 Shades of Gray series, and it doesn't have quite as many soap-operesque scenarios, nor does it delve into the psychology behind dominance and submission as much. I did enjoy the heroine Eva more than Anastasia. None the less, I found it to be a fun ride and am looking forward to the sequel in October. We all can use a little escape from time to time.
I'm shocked that she hasn't been sued by E.L. James for plagarizing Fifty Shades. Slightly better character development and marginally better writing, but overall it's the same book.
