You can't tell me that this wasn't a bad Wattpad fanfiction that happened to get published.
Love Love Love it, its passionate sexy and keeps you rooting for Eva and Gideon, i went from laughing out loud to utter frustration with the characters the book really pulls the reader in and you feel like you are there Amazing xxxxx
Woah talk about ups and downs. One second Eva is totally into Gideon the next she is running away. Then a few pages later it happens all over again. I am freaking sick of it. Erotic scenes we're good in the beginning but as much as these two have sex it became boring, UGH.
Eva had so much more brain than Anastasia Steele it was astounding. Lol. So much better than FSOG. But still so problematic. The Gideon dude doesn't understand consent at all. And the lady keeps trying to fight him off. The excessive descriptions of his "masculinity" was off putting. Masculinity does not mean being aggressive but that idea is reinforced way too many times in the book. That dude is a complete d*ckhead and has issues with temper which does not make him hot. And the way the lead though better than Steele still gets pushed around and bends to his will because he's hot makes it terrible. Like, I hope people don't take this as a message when they finish reading the book that being aggressive and stalking someone is normal, loving behavior. Fiction is called so for a reason. This is definitely not my kinda book but it was a fun read to get me off my reading slump.
Oh my god I'm so upset that this book is over! It was absolutely amazing and I could not put it down! I can't even fathom how I am going to wait until October for the next book in the series.
It was just like Fifty Shades, only better written. Both characters were messed up with damaged pasts. No creepy bondage sex either, which is always a plus! I do admit that I thought Eva could be really petty and get angry over nothing, but I do need to take her past into account. It was a bit upsetting that you still dont learn Gideon's past by the end of this book, and there were a lot of loose ends.. There was also no plot to speak of, I kept waiting for shit to go down and it never really did to an extent that was acceptable for a climax (no pun intended).
That being said, as far as smut goes....DAMN! I loved it.

Amazing!!! Might even give it a nudge above 50 Shades :) Move over Grey-- give me CROSS!!!
Would have liked it more if the storyline was more creative and unique, instead of being an exact copy (or close enough) to 50 shades of Grey. Sylvia Day is just riding the coat tails of E.L. James....just my opinion. Ana VS Eva; Christian VS Gideon.
