So quick to listen to and I loved every second! It’s so impressive listening to his story and how he worked to become who he is today. It’s refreshing to hear that no one journey is the same but we all have our struggles to overcome. And how important it is to be yourself.

It's kinda a choose your own adventure book cause at one point you get a completely happy ending so you could stop listening there. If you keep going it's very bittersweet, but the perseverance of Van Ness is incredible.

Definitely recommend the audiobook — JVN reads it, and no doubt it flows better than it would to read a print/ebook edition.
If you're missing Queer Eye and need more JVN in your life then listen to this audibook. It's not the most amazing book I've ever read (listened to) but it is very JVN and that is what I liked about it.
JVN's voice shines through perfectly in his writng. Even though it's easy to feel one knows him through all his other media platforms, this is a good peek behind the effervescent outgoing JVN that is always on display.
This really should be an audiobook, I can't imagine reading the physical copy. I'm sure there were photos I missed out on but the audiobook was excellent. Read in true JVN fashion! Just when I thought I couldn't love him anymore, I read this memoir and my heart is so full.
