 At first I wasn't very invested in the story. While it's neat to see another piece of this universe, it not involving any characters I've come to care for had me blasé over it.
Until the ending. Even in this far future universe, corruption finds it's way to worm itself into even the most well-meaning people. That development made it into a great slice of life in the Expanse universe.
